올해로 23회를 맞이하는 광양 매화축제는 봄을 알리는 대표적인 축제입니다. 이번 해는 예년보다 포근한 날씨로 이른 개화로 작년보다 2일 앞선 3월 8일부터 17일까지 개최됩니다. 광양 매화축제는 섬진강변과 청매실농원을 중심으로 6만평에 이르는 매화군락이 추웠던 몸과 마음을 녹여주는 봄꽃축제입니다.
